"God Fell To The Ground" triptych painting
"Smash the control machine" series. "God Fell To The Ground" is the title of this triptych. I painted 3 triptych pieces for various songs on the album. each represents colors from flags of countries which the songs topics originated. This one is for the song "God Fell to The Ground". The song was insprired by a young child describing their families house exploding. It's got the colors of palestine in the abstract portion of the board in which I hand carve through thick layers of paint with a piece of fence wire.. It features the comic strip which is made from hand pasteled photographs I took and printed on 11x17. then made pictures of the strip and cutout a few 100 to use across all the album paintings. It features a photo of a Leon Ferrari (Collage Artist and Sculptor from Beunos Aries)scuplture. The Jesus on the USAF plane is a sculture he made and I found moving.I dreamed of using it for this purpose. I got my chance when my wife and I made the trek to Buenos Aries in march 2025. I went to shoot some photos of the sculpture to use in my painting for the album cover art.
